The leadership change has been long in the making. Laurent Mulley (born 1968) joined Endress+Hauser France as Director of Sales in 2012. Prior to that, he held the same position at sensor manufacturer Sick. During his time at Endress+Hauser France, Laurent Mulley has made important contributions through efficient structures and a stronger industry orientation. The new Managing Director holds degrees in physics and measurement technology, as well as an MBA.
63-year-old Urs Endress (born 1953) will remain close to Endress+Hauser as more than a shareholder. He will continue to represent the company with key customers. He also plans to internationalize the cross-border training and education initiative started by his late father, company founder Dr Georg H Endress. The aim is to give apprentices the opportunity to acquire work experience on different continents.
Urs Endress joined the family-owned company in 1982 after earning a degree in mechanical engineering. After ten years with flow measurement specialist Endress+Hauser Flowtec in Switzerland and four years in international sales with focus on Asia, he has overseen the successful development and expansion of the French sales center since 1996.
Endress+Hauser France has more than 250 employees at its headquarters in Huningue, as well as at offices in Paris, Bordeaux and Lyon. Apart from the domestic market, Endress+Hauser France also manages the Group’s business in French-speaking Africa.
